NO PARKING
2nd St Festival takes up a large footprint and requires a LOT of no parking regulations the day of the event. If you regularly park in the neighborhood and aren’t sure how you will be impacted, you can find more on what to expect below.
No parking regulations go into effect Sunday at midnight with towing setting to start around 3am.
ALL cars on 2nd St from Girard Ave to Spring Garden St will be relocated, period.
Not all cars parked on the side streets (e.g. George, Wildey, Laurel, Poplar, etc) will be relocated. However, it is best to err on the side of caution and avoid these areas, wherever possible, particularly those closest to the 2nd St.
Side streets of particular importance for no parking are:
Germantown Ave near the 2nd St intersection;
Laurel St from Hancock to American;
Poplar St near the 2nd St intersection; and
Fairmount Ave from Hancock to American.
If you need your car some time during the day, you will NOT be able to exit onto 2nd St at all.
Street parking in the neighborhood can be limited. However, there are several surface lots on Front St operated by Target Park USA, and street parking that is open to Permit 10 parking on and south of Spring Garden.
